New Phone-Wallet-Keys of 2025: 3 Things I Never Leave the House Without

It’s the most important ritual before you leave the house: The phone-wallet-keys check. “Do I have my phone? Wallet? Keys?” 

But the ritual is no longer limited to phone, wallet, and keys. As the times change and new technology enters our lives, we find ourselves adapting the phone-wallet-keys ritual to make room for the new everyday carry items that have found their way into our lives. 

So here’s the 2025 update to Phone-Wallet-Keys:

1) Phone w/ Cardholder 

Obviously we’re keeping phone on the list… it’s basically your whole life in a box. 

But in 2025, there’s a twist: Slap a magback cardholder on the back and you’ve combined your phone and wallet into a single item. 

Its like a cheat code for carrying light.

2) Airpods

Definitely a newer addition to the list, but it’s earned its spot as an “always on me” item.

Yeah, listening to music is clutch, but it’s really the hands free calls that are most important. 

If you’ve ever had to take a call while trying to hold the phone up to your ear while out and about, you’ll know why I’m never leaving the house without these things again. 

3) Z Caddy metal Zyn can

If you’re into nicotine or other pouches, having your pouches on you anytime you leave the house is a must. 

But I’m not about to settle for those cheap plastic cans.

So while Phone Wallet Keys is a classic, it’s got to adapt with the times. 

In 2025 for me, it’s become Phone - Airpods - Z Caddy… and I’m enjoying it.
