As long as people either Like it more or have No real opinion, this is the next version of the Z Caddy design. My reasoning is: I want to keep the sleek outside look, while adding some Z Caddy branding to the product. Does that resonate with you all?

How a Purple Can Completes My Redemption Arc

Does anyone else really like the color purple, or is it just me? … (What a fucked up way to start an email). I don’t even own anything purple, but when I see the color, it gets me kinda jazzed. Maybe it’s how much Barney I watched as a kid, or how much I love a good Mardi Gras parade, but purple just resonates with me.

Funny story: I actually tried to go with a purple color scheme in my bedroom once. I was going for something like this:

Mom: We have purple bedroom at home. The purple bedroom at home: …

I was so proud of myself when I took that picture, so I sent it to a couple of my girl friends to show off. Surely they will also think this is a cool, sophisticated way for a 30 year old man to style his bedroom. Right?

Apparently not.

The responses were unanimous, and entirely unsupportive. Woman after woman I texted, hoping to verify that at least one person found the purple color scheme as epic as I thought it was… but alas, no one was in my corner.

And so with much regret, I returned the purple satin pillow cases and purple throw blanket, opting instead for a more neutral forest green. And while the new color was more accepted by society, I still felt a longing for what could have been.

But now I finally have a chance for redemption. No, I’m not redoing my bedroom. I’m doing something better. Check it out:

Yes that’s right - Z Caddy will soon be available in Purple. Eat your heart out ladies.

Will anyone want a purple Z Caddy - I have no idea (not entirely true… at least one person has messaged me asking about a purple can) - and while I have no expectations that it will be a best seller, for the few people who opt for purple, just know, we are a small but mighty crew of purple advocates.
