Form or Function?

Company Updates

New product design

Check it out! This is the basic Z Caddy design moving forward. Don’t worry - I know you all love the sleek look of the Z Caddy, so I didn’t add anything to the outside. But a logo on the inside adds a hint of authenticity that tells you your can is legit, and that it’s time to enjoy the hell out of this next Zyn.

I don’t want any of you to feel left out - if you want to check out the new design, message me and I’ll give you 25% off.

New logo, same Z Caddy

New logo is in, and I’m stoked. Kept it simple, nothing fancy. But it’s clean, looks more professional, but still bold enough to align with the Z Caddy spirit of elevating your Zyn game, classing things up a bit, and having a good f***ing time.

Just for Fun: Form or Function?

Ok, I’ll admit it. “Design” is not my strong suit… Whether it’s putting together a nice looking outfit, building a clean looking Power Point, or designing the interior of my apartment (see purple bed sheets post from last week), I’ve always been better at function over form. Trying to make something look really nice has me feeling like Dave Bautista trying to act.

Nobody: … Dave Bautista: **Screams in Dune**

Ok, but what does this have to do with Z Caddy?

Design comes up everywhere in a business. Making nice looking ads, building a pretty website, even designing a sleek looking product. Which means that I’m shit out of luck. Or does it?

I’ve gotten by my whole life by leaning into function over form - and that’s OK, as long as I get the form right enough. I’ll be the first to admit that our website doesn’t look like the best website in the world - but it’s good at letting you know how freaking awesome Z Caddy is and how it can improve your life. And that’s what matters.

A rare case where we got function AND form correct… I know I already used this image, but what a good looking metal can

So what’s the point of all this? Design will get better over time, but I will continue to lead with function first. Which means always seeking to understand what your experience with Z Caddy is, and how I can better serve you, making sure Z Caddy truly does help you have a more enjoyable Zyn experience.

So expect me to reach out in the near future to ask about your experience with Z Caddy, how we can make it better, and what else you’d like to see from us. I value your feedback more than ANYTHING I can come up with on my own, so THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed so far. Looking forward to everything else we come up with.
