One Does Not Simply PRODUCE Good Content

Company Updates

Launched v2 of our website! Some aesthetic changes, and acts as a dedicated home page, allowing us to create different versions of landing pages to test with ad content.

Currently looking for a graphic designer to take our logo and branding to the next level (if you know anyone good let me know!)

One Does Not Simply PRODUCE Good Content

What kind of content does my audience want to see? I mean, I’m writing 500 word emails for god’s sake - when’s the last time most of you have read more than 140 characters at a time?

But the key to creating content is to Always Be Testing

My references are out of control.. Everyone knows that

Here, I’m testing a hypothesis: I think that even though long-form content is far from the norm, there will still be a small percentage of you who actually read this and who like getting a more nuanced, in-depth look into the process of starting a new company and what’s going on in my head. That, and sometimes I just like to get my thoughts out on paper.

But the testing doesn’t stop here - it needs to span across all my content channels. Instagram is where I’m spending most of my energy right now, and results haven’t been too promising… The reality is that I haven’t figured out what type of content is going to capture my audience’s attention, provide actual value to them (whether it’s a laugh, or something relatable, or something really cool) and make them want to share with their friends.

But that’s OK, because I’ll ABT. Keep trying different types of content, different formats, different messages, until I figure out what resonates. And when it does, I’ll be glad to know I’m providing a bit more value to my audience and enabling them to connect with me and my brand that much more.
